This phobia presents an image of fear of being driven out from his warm place of refuge on earth. This phobia we can see in the character of Stanley

Breaking the innocence to maturity in this play. Harold Pinter talking about the changes of human beings and it's probability. We see the innocence in certain ways and after that the sudden situations are changes you into maturity. That rules make a huge differences in your personality and also in your humanity. Artist and society also make huge challenges in life. Sometimes artists are struggle a lot in their life and in their dreams, but society can't accept them properly. Artists are feel the nostalgic situation in their talent. Then we learn about the psychological reading in this play. The two characters are like Goldberg and Maccan represent the 'Past' of Stanley's own subconscious mind. They make interrogation of the past activities and actions of Stanley in ACT 2. As we can see the Spiritual reading by Stanley as a soul. Harold Pinter uses some political satire in this play.

While viewing the movie of "The Birthday Party" it's spread a very interesting parts to observe something new. Camera techniques must be make a huge vital role in this movie. It started with showing absurdity by used of blank chairs on the beach side. The massi kitchen and the symbol of cornflakes for morning breakfast drives the concept of something weird.




The major concept of irritating sounds used in this movie. Sounds are too loud and irritated. The sound of cutting newspaper, car, crockery and many more sounds are make a height on the situation. Harold used the significance of silence in this movie. Silence speaks louder than the words. 


Stanley talking about his imaginary or past lifestyle and represent itself as a artist and loved to play piono. Sometimes we observed the confusion, secrets about life, ambiguity and many more things. In between the interrogation of Stanley we see the little bit turn of comedy. Goldberg is a very confident and positive man. On the other side Mccann quite confused in some things and talked with good expressions. 






In the movie we find the relationship between Meg and Stanley. The significance of darkness to define the reality and fake. Artificial concern, artificial love, artificial care and many more things we can found by this movie. Some meaningless screens and meaningless talks we can find out in this movie. Sometimes we feel Goldberg, Mccann and Stanley know each others and sometimes we feel they are just guest of the boarding house run by Meg and Petey. Meg's speech show the true love for Stanley. The broken drum is the also symbol of broken trust, broken feelings. In the birthday party happens something weird and unconventional technique of representation. In that party in the darkness Lulu raped by Stanley. But on the next morning all that situations are normal and everyone forgets about that night.

We can clearly identify the something dangerous and deep darker in the background and in the character's life also. The better use of language, camera style, comedy of Menace, various projection and many more things we can observed in post-viewing task.

This play make confusion, consequences, darkness, absurdity and many more things. This play highlight the major concept of comedy of Menace in certain ways. The symbolic representation of some aspects are more powerful. It's very interesting to explore the style of Harold Pinter and study about it.
